Sean & Shaina | Little America Hotel & Resort |Cheyenne, Wyoming Wedding Photographer

Shaina and Sean were married last summer at the Little America Hotel & Resort here in Cheyenne. I absolutely adore this couple. They are genuine, thoughtful people, and they were amazing to work with. I loved being around their families for the day and celebrating on a gorgeous late August day. Shaina planned the perfect color scheme for Little America, pulling in oranges and yellows in handmade paper flowers and a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony site made of (look closely at the photos below) coffee filters, spoons, buttons and paper. It was such an honor and pleasure to be a part of your big day, Shaina and Sean. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for making me a part of it!

A little side note…I’m finally blogging weddings from last season, so my apologies that things seem a little out of order on my website. It’s been another busy fall and winter, and I’m gearing up for another packed wedding season. This year’s wedding dates have all been taken, but I’m starting to book 2017 dates. A big thanks to all my wonderful couples with past and upcoming wedding dates!

I was a little smitten with all of the little folks at this wedding, if you can’t tell. They had the cutest flower girls and ring bearers! If you’re planning an upcoming wedding, it’s a good idea to take a look at the colors of your venue so that you can accent and compliment the room. Shaina could not have done this any better — she played off the peach, orange and yellow in the room and added in a modern color to ground it – gray. She displayed her handmade flowers in teapots and coffee pots of different varieties on each of the tables. I also loved the personal touches she showed in her favors, opting for coffee beans and hershey kisses to send home with her guests. The ceremony backdrop, crafted by the bride’s aunts and mom, if I remember correctly…Definitely one of my favorites from the day….give groomsmen specific information about aisle runners…and be very, very specific. Haha! I loved the looks on the bridesmaids faces in the background. 😉
