Fall Mountain Senior Pictures Near Cheyenne

I know we are still in winter (or let’s be optimistic and call it “sprinter,” shall we?), but I am trying to catch up on sharing senior picture sessions from last fall. More importantly, Cheyenne juniors who are soon-to-be seniors, it’s time to book them right now so you don’t miss out!

Grace is the loveliest of humans. She is kind, polite, patient, and easy-going. She’s a talented musician, an incredible student, and clearly poised to do something really meaningful with her life. I feel so thankful I was able to meet her on her senior session last fall! We took these senior pictures near Cheyenne in the mountains between Laramie and Cheyenne. This session was perfectly timed for fall color, but you’d never know we had to dodge a storm earlier that day.

Cheyenne Class of 2024 seniors, it’s time! Please don’t wait to book your date for the summer or fall. If you’re wanting fall color for your senior photos, you’ll need to book your senior session by June 1st. Wyoming has a fairly short window of peak fall color in our mountain areas, and these sessions get booked up well before any other dates.

For mountain photos closer to Laramie, fall color peaks a bit earlier than mountain areas closer to Cheyenne. Generally, we’re aiming for late September to early October. If you’re looking for a session near Lake Marie, subtract two weeks from that timeline. For Colorado sessions, add two weeks. I can help you find the best date with the most likely fall color for your chosen location. Either way, though, don’t wait to get your fall senior photos booked. They go fast!
