I offer school pictures in Cheyenne, Laramie, Wellington and Fort Collins. Using a simple, online process to create lists of students, match photos to each family and deliver beautiful images through private galleries, I make school pictures a breeze for schools and staff. But most of all, I deliver modern, classic images that bring children’s personalities into focus.

I’ve been a Cheyenne photographer for over 13 years, capturing kids of all ages and families at every stage of life. When I opened a downtown studio in Cheyenne, I fell in love with photographing kids on simple, no fuss backdrops with beautiful lighting in my studio. When I was referred a few preschool jobs by other photographers, I decided to put this love toward being a school photographer.

HOW IT WORKS

I handle everything, from parent communication to print delivery.

We start with either a school roster or a sign up sheet so parents can sign up for email notifications about picture day, and I create a class list to use on the day of the shoot.

PICTURE DAY

On the day of pictures, I will bring a backdrop, lighting, and any chairs or props I might need to photograph kids safely. I use a simplified process to match kids’ photos to the list I have prepared before the day of the session.

GALLERY & PRODUCT DELIVERY

Within two weeks, I will send private galleries to each parent with their child’s photos. From there, they can purchase digital files or print products. Digital files are delivered directly to their emails. Print products can be drop-shipped to parents directly or sent to the school in bulk. I handle payment through an automated system that is secure and easy to use.

I offer multiple poses for each child for families to choose from. My style is a modern, fine art approach.

Yes! I will make sure parents have my contact information and I will field all questions related to pictures, ordering and product delivery.

I bring all of my own equipment, including lighting, backdrops, and any chairs or props I might need to beautifully photograph each child in an age-appropriate, safe way.

You bet! Teachers and staff members are VIPs in my book, and they deserve great photos too. I take staff headshots at no charge to schools or staff members.

Ideally, I’d love to have an area with tall ceilings and lots of room for lining classes up and setting up a portrait area. I can come scout your location before picture day to help narrow down which spot might be best for photos.

Absolutely! Sibling photos can be taken at any preschool and I’m happy to put siblings into the same private picture gallery.

Hi there! I’m Janelle.

As a mom of two girls, I know that picture day can be stressful. My goal is to make picture day a streamlined process for parents and super fun for kids.

As a Cheyenne family and wedding photographer for over 13 years, I consider myself a professional chaos controller. I’ve had lots of practice with kids of all ages, and I am skilled at everything from redirecting energetic kids to connecting with apprehensive little ones.

My approach is easy-going, light-hearted and focused on letting kids be themselves.
