Dreamy Adventures

Light in the Tetons can be ethereal and dreamy. But certain times of day, light can also be as harsh and rugged as the peaks themselves. I can help you plan a session that captures exactly the vibe you’re hoping for. Light can go down 2 hours earlier than official sunset in certain locations in the valley. You need a photographer who knows all the backroads, how to avoid the tourist crowds, and when to hit each location for the perfect light on the mountains.
I’ve been a Wyoming photographer for over 13 years, and I’ve been exploring these mountains since I was a kid. I’d love to be your trusted guide for a senior picture experience that you’ll remember forever.

FAQ

Have some questions about scheduling a senior session in the Tetons?

Every Teton senior session is either at sunrise or sunset. Depending on your session location, timing might be different than the official sunrise or sunset so that we maximize beautiful light.

Unfortunately, most places within Grand Teton National Park are pet-free zones. Pets are limited to places cars can go (parking lots and roads) and they must be on a leash.

I shoot in the Tetons in the summer or fall months, when most roads and trails within the park are open and when weather is ideal. Session dates are available between June 15th and September 15th. If a date isn’t on the session calendar, it is not available in the Teton area.

You will need your own car for driving into the park and in between locations. Please also bring your outfit changes (up to 5), organized on hangers and neatly pressed. If you plan on getting into any water, bring a towel. No matter what, bring and wear shoes for walking. We will walk a LOT on uneven trails. Please do not bring tall heels or uncomfortable shoes. Please also bring water and snacks for driving in-between locations.
