Cheyenne Senior Photographer | Genevieve {Central High School Class of 2012}
This is definitely another favorite session of mine. Genevieve is such a classic beauty, and when I met her and her mom for coffee before her session, I was so struck by her poise and sweet disposition. We were trying to think of an indoor setting that might be fitting for this beautiful girl who wants to go into politics. I think we found it at a former senator’s house right here in Cheyenne.
Jim Osterfoss and Jane Branigan were incredibly gracious in allowing us to do Genevieve’s indoor session at the Nagle-Warren Mansion. I’ve heard so many things about the mansion, but I had never been inside until just prior to Genevieve’s session. What an amazing place! If you haven’t been, you should definitely check it out. Not only is it a bed and breakfast, but there are also many events offered there throughout the year, including mystery dinners, wine-pairing dinners, and ice-cream socials. Visit their website for more details: http://www.naglewarrenmansion.com/. A big thanks to Mr. Osterfoss and Ms. Branigan for being so generous with this exquisite location. It was a perfect setting.
We took a little break after the indoor shoot and drove down to Fort Collins. Genevieve brought her friend Madi along (who had some mad reflector-holding skills, by the way…thanks, Madi!), and we had a blast in some of the back alleys of Old Town. Later, we moved to a spot along the Poudre Trail for the last set. Genevieve, thank you for such a fun day! I am so excited to see where life takes you next. I might ask for your autograph on one of your prints; I wouldn’t be too surprised if I just photographed our first female president ;-).
