This little family was so adorable. Monika and Kirk drove all the way here from Kimball, Nebraska to see me, and we had a great afternoon playing in the mountains at Happy Jack Recreation Area. This session was rescheduled at least three times due to the crazy rain we kept getting all spring. In fact, the night we took these ended in a downpour just as we hopped back in our cars (whew!). Monika had her family dressed perfectly for family photos – coordinated but not totally matching. I loved the colors she chose for this time of year – greens and blues are perfect for spring and early summer photos in Wyoming, because the grasses tend to be nice and green after our spring snow and rain. I also loved how the greens complimented the sage on the hills.
