I had the pleasure of photographing Alyssa in Salt Lake City last winter for her dance competition photos. What a talented, amazing young lady she is! Alyssa seems to be a natural-born athlete, and she has a strong gymnastics background. She strikes me as the kind of dancer whose technique is best expressed at the height of that athleticism. Having her do jumps in the Utah State Capitol only seemed fitting. It was so much fun hanging out with her and her sweet family for a day. Thanks so much, Alyssa! Congrats on all your accomplishments!
