Time-Tested Skill
I’ve been a Cheyenne, Wyoming wedding photographer for over 13 years. Nothing can phase me. I have seen every lighting condition, dealt with every family drama, and helped avert crises at more weddings than I can count over the years.
Relaxed guidance throughout the entire process
From the time you say “yes” to beyond the time you come home from your honeymoon, I’m here to help you and guide you. I craft a wedding day timeline for you to help your day flow effortlessly, and I provide easy-going guidance while you’re getting your photo taken so you look your best in every photo.
The goal: forget you’re being photographed
Remember how you felt, not how you were posed. Your wedding day is not my photoshoot. I work hard to make sure I tell your unique story, not one I create as a photographer. I want you to see the real you in photos, not some social media trend that will be gone in two years.
Soulful, Quality Art for Adventurous Couples
Photos that endure the test of time
Because the Truth Never Goes Out of Style
I want to capture what is really important about your day, and what will still be important to you in 10 or 20 years. Your wedding is unique to you, which means it shouldn’t be one of a thousand on Instagram. When you look at your photos, you should see you, not the latest social media trend. I grew up in Wyoming, and I want your photos to show what Wyoming really looks like. That’s why I’m a Wyoming wedding photographer who keeps editing classic and colors true-to life.
I’ve been a Cheyenne wedding photographer for over 13 years, photographing weddings across Southeast Wyoming, and in Fort Collins, Laramie and Jackson Hole.
LET ME HELP YOU
SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS
Your day should be care-free.
Before your wedding day, I’ll craft a day-of photo timeline for you that makes your day flow effortlessly from start to finish. While I like to blend in as much as possible during most of your day, I do set aside times for portraits, including family photos, bridal party photos and couples portraits.
The photo timeline I create for you helps you know when hair and makeup should be finished, when to put your dress on, and when and where to have family meet up for photos. Together, we’ll curate a family photo list so that the formal portrait times get done quickly and efficiently. I’ll help you list out exactly who you want in group photos, so all we have to do is call out the list during the family portrait time.
During couples portraits, you’ll be given prompts to help you relax and have fun together. My goal is to capture authentic interactions between the two of you, prioritizing connection over perfection. At other times during the day, we will be letting things happen and you might forget I’m there.
I want your day to go as smoothly as possible, and being organized leaves room for real moments to play out during an stress-free, relaxed day. The end result is a joyful retelling of your gorgeous day, capturing every important moment and every key player who helped you celebrate.
KIND WORDS

My Approach
01.
Getting Ready
How we start the day
I will likely arrive about 1-2 hours before the time you are set to put your dress on. For this part of the day, I try to blend in as much as possible. Aside from moving you into prettier light, I don’t do much directing during this portion of the day.
I will photograph some hair and makeup, along with the bridal zip up and finishing touches for the groom, but my favorite images tend to be ones of you and your best friends hanging out and relaxing.
02.
First Look?
The Choice is Yours
Whether or not you decide to see one another before you walk down the aisle is entirely up to you. There are pros and cons to each approach, but your timeline will be based upon whether or not you have one scheduled. If you decide to do one, we will likely do bridal party photos and family photos before your ceremony. Each day is different, however, so all of this will depend on the time of your ceremony and available light.
03.
Bridal Party and Family Photos
Efficient, beautiful images of your favorite people
I move through these really quickly. For bridal party photos, we start with photos of the whole group and then move onto photos of each side, then photos of each of you with each member of your bridal party. It takes 20 minutes tops, but usually less. Family photos usually take no more than 30 minutes. We typically photograph immediate family on each side, but we like to ask about any special requests you have for group photos to make sure we don’t miss anything or anyone you want photographed.
04.
Ceremony
Saying “I do”
I like to blend in during ceremonies. I will make sure I am set up in the best possible locations for all moments, but I try not to be noticed by your guests. This is your moment, and I don’t want to distract from anything that is happening.
05.
Couples Portraits
Just the Two of you
This is my favorite time of the day, and one of the only times the two of you are alone with each other. Closeness, connection and authenticity are the hallmarks of my couples portraits, but how they flow depends on who you are as a couple. Some of my couples joke around and laugh together during this time. Others are quiet and cuddly. I take my cues from you in terms of poses, prompts and interactions you are most comfortable with. I will incorporate beautiful sunset light and gorgeous Wyoming views as much as possible for your couples portraits.
06.
Reception
Party time!
I take a short break during dinner (no one wants photos of themselves eating) and then I move onto photographing toasts, first dances, cake cutting and any other big events. Once your guests start dancing, I like to be on the dance floor with you to capture dancing and any other mayhem that ensues.
