Cheyenne Wedding Photographer | Jamie + Avery
I’ve been a Cheyenne wedding photographer for nearly 10 years now, and I’ve seen a lot of different wedding venues. But I think my favorite wedding venues around the Cheyenne and Laramie area seem to be the personal ones. The venues I like the best tend to be the ones that have incredible meaning to the couple.
Jamie and Avery came here from out of state. They wanted to make sure their wedding highlighted what they love about their new home here in Cheyenne; wide open spaces, beautiful skies, and gorgeous sunsets on the prairie. I think those of us who grew up in Wyoming tend to forget just how beautiful and unique this landscape can be. I absolutely love the portraits of Jamie and Avery at sunset on the hillside near their house. They planned their wedding timing around having time for portraits at sunset, and they picked a date based on the fact we’d have a full moon. They also embraced the fact that their adorable goats are escape artists; you’ll see lots of goat cameos throughout the day below!
I shot this wedding with Brian Harrington from BHP Imaging in Laramie, who was gracious enough to second shoot with me while Liz was covering another event of ours at Brush Creek. It’s always really fun to shoot with other photographers in the state, especially ones like Brian. He’s got such great energy. Brian, thanks for making the trip over here to help me out.
Jamie and Avery, you were a complete joy to work with. Thank you for allowing us to capture your love for each other and for this Wyoming landscape. Congratulations!
