Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Wedding

This wedding was an absolute dream! If you are looking for unparalleled views in the Teton area, along with an epic experience for you and your guests, this venue is for you. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is, of course, the premiere ski area in the Grand Teton region. This beautiful wedding venue in Teton Village also serves as a wedding venue that can be rented out for private events. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort might be one of our favorite venues in the Jackson, Wyoming area, especially in the summer months. It can accommodate over 300 guests, and they also have in-house catering that is wonderful. Ben and Clara were married at the top of the gondola just outside the Rendezvous Lodge. Everyone in attendance rode the gondola to the top of the mountain. I do believe they require a wedding planner in order to host an event here. Our go-to wedding planner for anything in the Teton area is the lovely Alison Kyle with Destination Jackson Hole.

Ben and Clara are both huge skiers. The headwall at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort held an especially important place in their hearts, as they skied it together on one of their first trips as a couple. In the summer months, as you will see, the headwall is covered in wildflowers.

We absolutely adored these two. They are some of the kindest, most beautiful souls, and we loved every minute of their wedding weekend. We photographed their welcome dinner on Friday night at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. The next day, we took getting ready photos at the Rustic Inn in Jackson Hole, followed by their ceremony and reception at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. On Sunday after the wedding, we met them again for a day-after session in Grand Teton National Park.

While the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a fabulous wedding venue, it is basically on the mountain. While views from JHMR are phenomenal, the views from the venue will show the valley floor. If you are looking for wedding photos with views of the Teton Mountain Range, we will need to plan some of your photos for a different timeframe. Clara and Ben opted to do that portion the day after their wedding at sunset. Thank you, Clara and Ben, for being so accommodating to us with your time! We were incredibly honored to capture your day!

A Jackson Hole Mountain Resort wedding is best planned in July or August, when temps are warm enough to be at a higher elevation and before fire season really kicks in. This venue is truly magical, so it is definitely worth a look. I will never, ever forget coming down the gondola at the end of the night in total darkness. It felt like we were floating in stars. This venue creates an experience that you and your guests will never forget.
