Loveland, Colorado Elopement

Logan and Brooke had their wedding and reception planned in April at the D Barn in Longmont. A little over a month before their big day, the pandemic hit the US in full force. Brooke and Logan changed plans and opted to have a small ceremony at the end of April to tie the knot with family. They ended up having the most beautiful spring day imaginable at Boyd Lake in Loveland. The officiant’s wife set up a gorgeous altar, table and decorations for them. All in all, it ended up being such a sweet, lovely day.

I think we’ve all experienced extreme highs and lows throughout this new world in which we find ourselves. For me, getting to shoot this day was a complete game-changer. Picking up the camera again made me feel alive, and it made me remember that there joy can survive through just about anything. Logan and Brooke, thanks for letting me capture your beautiful ceremony.
