Top 4 Indoor Cheyenne Wedding Venues and Laramie Wedding Venues
I thought it might be time to update our wedding planning posts. Today we’re breaking down wedding venues in Cheyenne and Laramie. This was originally posted in 2022 and updated December 28, 2023.
I would love for every wedding to be fully outside, but we all know that isn’t always feasible in Wyoming. As I sit here and watch the wind blow in what is supposed to be ‘springtime’, I also wanted to give you a few indoor options for venues here in Cheyenne and Laramie.

1. Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Center
This one’s going to book up quickly. This is a beautiful new space on the CFD Rodeo grounds, with opportunities for a rooftop ceremony or cocktail hour, and a gorgeous indoor dance floor and bar. When we shot a wedding here last winter, it hadn’t been open very long. I’m excited to shoot here in warmer months, especially on the rooftop area.
I’m so excited that the people who designed the space went with neutral tones inside. It has a very rustic feel, but it definitely isn’t something that is going to look dated in a few years. They did a really nice job with the finishes.

2. Little America Events Center, Cheyenne
Little America has been a staple for Cheyenne weddings for decades, and there’s a reason it is one of the most popular venues in town. If you want an all-inclusive experience, this is probably your place. While the strong colors in the meeting rooms make decorating a little challenging, the rooms are still nice enough that you really don’t need to decorate much. Most of our couples who have weddings here opt for neutral palettes in cream, navy or sage. Little America’s table service always works like clockwork, and I know that the reception will run super smoothly because of their impeccable customer service.
Little America has great options for getting ready rooms, too. That’s one less thing you need to worry about.
I have to admit, I don’t love indoor ceremonies here, but they are definitely feasible. Little America has started having an outdoor ceremony option, and they’ve added some landscaping to accommodate outdoor events. I would also ask about outdoor cocktail hours here. We have heard rumors that they might be willing to have them on the patios, but we have yet to see one.
To inquire about your date, visit the Little America website.
3. Marion Rochelle Gateway Center, Laramie
This seems to be the Laramie equivalent to Little America in Cheyenne. This space is a big indoor wedding venue conference area that can accommodate large crowds. They offer on site catering and bar services, along with getting ready areas. This is a very solid venue with a lot of potential, but it’s best suited as a reception venue only. I’ve seen a couple ceremonies here, and I think there are better places in Laramie or just outside Laramie to hold ceremonies (like the Curt Gowdy Amphitheater at Hynds Lodge, for example).
To see if they have your date available, go to the UW website.
4. Ivinson Mansion, Laramie
The Ivinson Mansion in Laramie has both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies. This is the one venue that made both of my “Indoor” and “Outdoor” lists. While I prefer ceremonies outside at this venue, their indoor ceremony option is beautiful and works well in the case of inclement weather.
