Just call me a professional chaos controller. As a mom of two girls, one almost in junior high and one in high school, I know how hard it can be to schedule family photos. I know it can be even harder sometimes to convince the spouse that it’s a good idea.
With over 13 years of experience as a family photographer, posed perfection has never been a goal of mine. I think your family’s quirkiness, silliness, and sense of adventure is something to be treasured. It’s for that reason that I make it my duty to capture your family as it really is. The result? In-Town Mini Sessions
Keep it nice and easy and meet me at a local park or downtown for a quick session. These sessions are perfect for busy teens or families with young babies who don’t love to be in the car for too long. Cheyenne has abundant parks and natural spaces that are great for family photo sessions.

Mountain Sessions
Is your family most at home on the trails or in the mountains? I offer mountain family photo sessions in the beauty of our recreational areas between Cheyenne and Laramie. We will walk quite a bit, exploring on the trails while we photograph your family in the wide open spaces of Wyoming. Please plan on wearing good shoes and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty.

Custom Mountain Sessions
Have a particular mountain location in mind? This session is for you. Choose a special trail or camping spot you love and I’ll meet you there. This session is perfect for locations that are a little more off-the-beaten-path or for families who want a little more time to play and explore during their session. This is the only family package that can accommodate extended family sessions.

In-Home Sessions
Thirty or 60 minute sessions, relaxing in your favorite spaces. In-home sessions are perfect for small babies and younger children. Bake cookies, grill s’mores in the backyard, play board games or dance in your kitchen…this session is all about how you spend time together. An in-home session also easily incorporates furry family members without the hassle of transporting them to unfamiliar places.

What to Expect During Your Family Session
A Relaxed Evening or Morning
You’ll have a relaxed, stress-free time together laughing, moving, playing games and cuddling. I’ll tell you exactly what to do to get the best photos, so all you need to do is show up and have fun being you. Outdoor family sessions are typically done when the light is softer, which means we’ll aim for a session time close to sunrise or sunset.
Portraits That Show Meaningful Connection
Your family is unique, and your family photos shouldn’t look like every other photo on social media. Your family session will showcase connection over posed perfection. The truth of your family’s unique connection is beautiful, and it’s a story worth telling.
Photos Showing Your Child’s Real Personality
Don’t stress about your child behaving perfectly or performing for your session. Maybe your child is shy, rambunctious, energetic, or quiet. Your family photos should remind you of who your child really is when you look back on them years down the road, and I will aim to truly get to know them for your session. We will get individual photos, sibling photos and parent photos in addition to the family group photos.
